Through the efforts of Webb & Associates, Murow | CM was able to team up with the County of Riverside – EDA and provide construction management services to repair damaged wash channel slopes along the perimeter of the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility out in the City of Banning. Approximately 1,400 LF of slope was excavated, filled and compacted, which also included the placement of 1 and 2-ton rip rap along the face of the slope. The project was completed in a (3) month period during the “wet” season and monitored so well by the Murow|CM team, that it came in ahead of schedule with no punch list items to report by the lead agency.
